Everton reach agreement to sign Adam Aznou

David Moyes’ Everton have reached an agreement to bring Bayern Munich’s young defender Adam Aznou to the club. According to Fabrizio Romano, Aznou is set to join the Premier League as Everton have finalized a deal worth €12 million to sign him from Bayern. The 19-year-old is expected to have his medical at Everton’s training ground in the next few days.

Aznou previously trained at Barcelona’s famous La Masia academy but moved to Germany in 2022.

He quickly rose through Bayern’s youth ranks and was promoted to the first team last summer.

However, he didn’t get much playing time under Vincent Kompany during the first half of the season, which led him to join Real Valladolid on loan.

He made 13 league appearances for the Spanish side and performed well in that time.

Now back at Bayern, Aznou is unlikely to get a regular spot in the first team.

Looking for more playing opportunities, he has been eager to move to a club where he can play more consistently. Everton have been searching for quality and depth on the left flank, which is why they have become a likely destination for the young defender.
