Chelsea to earn £40 million from Felix’s sale

Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea are about to receive approximately £40 million from Joao Felix’s transfer to Al-Nassr, one of the top teams in the Saudi Pro League. A report from TBR says that Joao Felix is going to join his international teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo, at Al-Nassr after the club reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign him. Felix’s future had been uncertain all through the summer, but it looks like he has finally found a new club.

Felix’s career hasn’t gone as planned since he joined Atletico Madrid in 2019.

He rose through the ranks at Benfica and became well-known for his talent. Because of his impressive performance, Atletico Madrid paid a huge fee to bring him in.

His time at Atletico didn’t go well, and after a loan at Barcelona, Chelsea signed him in a £46 million deal last summer.

But that didn’t work out either, as he ended up on loan at AC Milan for the second half of the season.

Now that he’s back at Chelsea, he isn’t part of Enzo Maresca’s plans for the future.

So, the club has been trying to find a new team for the 25-year-old. They were talking to Benfica and were ready to loan him out, but it was tough to reach an agreement because his contract with Chelsea still had six years left.

Chelsea is set to receive £40 million from the sale of Felix. The Portuguese club was the only team interested in signing him until Al-Nassr joined the competition at the beginning of the week. Ronaldo told his team's management he was available, and the Saudi club quickly moved to sign him as per his request.

An agreement has been reached with both Chelsea and Felix.

All the necessary arrangements are in place for the transfer to happen. The Blues have secured a deal worth approximately £40 million, which means they will be happy to recover most of the amount they spent last summer.

Although Felix would have liked to stay in Europe and play with Ronaldo, joining him in the Middle East might help Felix regain his top form.
